This provided an apportunity to examine issues affecting young women in relation to their mental health needs and the impact of a feminist model in the prevention of suicide in young women. "Success works" was appointed to conduct the research and parts of the Executive Summary of its final report have been edited for this article. The evaluation confirmed that the YWP had developed a feminist model of practice favoured by the young women and effective in meeting their needs including mental health needs. The article provides details of the approach to evaluation, the service model used, case management, user profile and user feedback.]
